Focus Area

Eric advises Fiduciary Trust of New England on all legal matters related to fiduciary laws and trust administration. He will also work closely with Fiduciary’s client teams, providing sophisticated estate and tax planning and trust administration solutions to our clients in collaboration with their other advisors.

Experience

Prior to joining Fiduciary, Eric was an attorney in the Private Client and Trust practice group of Goulston & Storrs PC, where he focused on advising high-net-worth individuals and families from the U.S. and abroad on developing and implementing tax-efficient estate and gift plans to aid with the accumulation, preservation and transfer of wealth. He focused his practice in the areas of estate planning, trust administration, estate settlement, and charitable gift planning. In addition, Eric served as a trustee for private trusts where he was responsible for the investment of trust assets, and he also represented beneficiaries and trustees of trusts, providing advocacy as well as assistance with best practices. Prior to Goulston & Storrs, Eric was an associate in the private client group at a large international law firm in Boston.

Eric was recognized in the 2021-2025 Editions of “Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch” for his practice in Trusts and Estates law. In addition, he is a graduate of the New England Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.

Personal

Outside of work, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He is an avid skier and loves to golf, travel and stay involved with his sons’ sports activities.
