Staying Healthy
Guidelines for Avoiding Coronavirus Exposure:
The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has a broad set of recommendations for limiting your risk of exposure to the coronavirus. Much of this advice has been widely publicized at this point, such sanitizing hands, physical isolation, and staying 6 feet away when you do need to be in the presence of others. One element that some may be underestimating is temporarily eliminating in-person contact with people outside of their immediate households. According to medical experts, people can have the virus and spread it before presenting symptoms themselves, so friends or family members can unknowingly transmit the virus by coming into contact with you. Therefore, it’s best to keep your distance and avoid in-person gatherings.
